Wore these sledding and tubing this past weekend and they kept my hands warm. Great product. Would buy again from Sierra Trading thanks to the reviews.

works for shoveling snow and skiing

I wear these to do outside sports/activities and they are warm and comfortable.

I didn't check any descriptions b/c I haven't worn them yet. I bought them b/c I thought it was a great price and I needed a pair when we have snow (once every 5 years). I bought a large b/c that's what the sizing chart said I needed, but the large is too long in the fingers and a little on the wide side. However, there are no longer any Med. so I will keep the large. I haven't worn them, so I have no idea how they will function in the cold or wet. BUT I did like the soft feel when I tried them on.

I didn't get to actually try these. Sent them back because I should have ordered a size smaller. But they looked very good - well made and durable material.

The gloves are great for out walking; nice and warm. The fingers are kind of wide. And the lining inside, though warm, is kind of odd. It's kind of "slippery". In other words, I tried to pick up a branch in the yard of about 5" diameter, and I couldn't get a grip on it because the lining inside the glove moves around, though the grip on the exterior of the glove is fine.

When it's really cold the grip inside gets stiff.

Warm and waterproof, good to throw in the car in cold weather. A little bulkier than I expected, so not good for tying my daughter's shoes, etc. But for warmth and basic usability in the cold, they're great.

Great to have around in cold weather. A bit bulky, so not the best for tying my daughter's skate laces, but warm and windproof and good for basic activities. Great price.

I ordered a medium in these gloves because it says that a medium is a glove size 7. All of my motocross gloves are a size 7 and fit fine. These were huge. There wasn't enough velcro on the strap to make these tight enough to stay on. All I got them for was to shovel snow etc. I sent them back and got a small. Now the fingers are slightly too short. The part that is the worst is the area between the first finger and thumb. As if the gloves are made for some sort of species that does not have an opposable thumb. If you have short fat hands, with short fat fingers, these gloves are for you. They do seem like they would be very warm though. Too bad the fit is so bad.
