Verified Buyer Reviewed by FarmersWife from Tennessee on Tuesday, March 10, 2015Bought these for my husband who farms. Best and warmest winter glove he's ever had (and he's 75). They are limber enough for him to do all his outside work and kept his hands warm and dry in temps below 10 degrees!
Reviewed by Short Swede from Connecticut on Saturday, January 25, 2014The single digit temperatures, of late in Connecticut, have not been a challenge for these effective gloves. The existence of a zipped pocket on the back of each glove permits the addition of a hand-warmer packet...... wonderful! Each glove has a partition permitting less insulation under your palm and fingers for those warmer days where you might want more 'feel'. I claim that at my age (80) my internal organs need my blood more than my extremities and that's why my hands and feet need all the help they can get! These comfortable, well made gloves protect and give comfort to my hands.
Reviewed by Fuzzball from Taos, NM on Monday, February 25, 2013I am so disappointed. I tried switching from a mitten to a glove and these just could not keep me warm in 0-20 degree F alpine skiing conditions, even with chemical heaters in the zippers. I have to return them. I switched back to my 8 year old mittens to finish the ski day and my hands were toasty. I am female and ordered the men's medium as I prefer an 8.5 size mitten/glove and they fit well.
Question “Hello, my question is, how much insulation are in these gloves. I live in Michigan, these last couple weeks have been brutal. The temps were in the minus single and double digits, and my hands lost all feeling and they were so cold, I had to stop in the middle of snow blowing, just to get the feeling back in my hands. I am 56 yrs. old. I like the looks of these gloves, and the added zipper on top of them. My fingers got it first. I am not a mitten person. Please help. Any suggestgions would be appreciated.
Answer I apologize, but the amount of insulation is not listed on this item. However, these are extremely warm gloves and I think they should be able to do the trick for you.
