“I did a lot of research before buying a pack and this was the winner. I don't need a pack this light but it doesn't give the impression of lacking durability even with the reduced weight. I use this mainly for climbing and I can fit my rope with rope bag, a full rack, draws, shoes, tarp, harness, webbing, chalk bag, jacket, water bottles on the side and while I have to pack a little smart (spend 5 minutes getting it all to fit properly) once loaded it feels great. Without that much gear there is plenty of room to spare.
