Verified Buyer Reviewed by Believer in living life to it's fullest! from Boise, ID on Tuesday, December 18, 2012I actually bought two of these for a wedding gift and filed them with everything you could think of you may need on a trip, Everyone loves to travel with me, I pack small but a lot of useful things. And yes they used to laugh until they needed my goods :) The reaction was wonderful, they were so pleased with all the options, size, versatility they will have. I have been trying to talk myself out of buying them for my family. But we just replaced all of our luggage 2 years ago in perfect shape. I have a feeling I will own them, can't resist the temptation. Would be great for college students also. Unique and wonderful.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by KAT from SE KY on Friday, November 23, 2012Perfection: Square size yields maximum interior space. Dual main compartments, each with a closing counterpanel containing manifold zippered storage areas made of ELASTIC fabric that expands considerably - brilliant!. Also, large zippered outside storage compartment and tuck-away shoulder straps for brief case-style carrying.
I use the pack as my sole supply center during ultramarathons as it easily accomodates all clothing changes and accessories (i.e., headlamps, food (Gu/Clif/bananas/drink mix/ etc.), shirts/shorts/socks/scarves/gloves, ANOTHER PAIR OF SHOES(!), lubricants, iPod, Garmin, watch, race paperwork, glasses) - all in separate, secured areas.
I looked long and hard for a hybrid backpack/case and could not be happier - and the price (about $130) at Sierra is unbeatable! Indispensable. Rugged quality. Solid zippers. Heavy duty outer shell. Strong interior stretchy fabric. Just one of those rare things in life that's simply perfect. Peace, out...
