Bought some for my elderly mother you still uses moth balls which are gross! They fit over the new flat hangars or those with a metal top, not over the all plastic hangers

We live in the woods and have a lot of moths around, so I'm always buying these for the closet. They smell great, much stronger than anything I've gotten from the big box stores and will last longer. Smell is not overwhelming but enough to be confident they will work!
