Reviewed by steve from north carolina on Thursday, June 13, 2013i was disappointed in the quality. one hanger arrived with the horizontal pant device broken at the intersection with the body of the hanger, the wood had splintered and there was NO way to repair. rather than return i decided to just hang shirts on it. i like cedar and considered these a special hanger and a treat , but doubt i would purchase again at any price

Reviewed by pj from Alabama on Friday, June 07, 2013These hangers are thick, well sanded & fragrant of cedar, but the cross bar is tacked on by one tiny, tiny nail on each side. All my other wooden hangers have crossbars that are fitted and glued. I bought a dozen pkgs. because I know that moths avoid cedar. About one hanger per pkg. was hanging by a single nail when I took them out of their box. They will be great for hinging anything that doesn't require a cross bar. None of the hangars will support a light-weight pair of size 2 ladies' pants.

I'm concerned that the cross bar for pants will hold up to long term use, definitely on the flimsy side. The surface finish is disappointing, and these hangers nowhere near as nice as true "American" beefier cedar hangers currently in my closet.
