I'm concerned that the cross bar for pants will hold up to long term use, definitely on the flimsy side. The surface finish is disappointing, and these hangers nowhere near as nice as true "American" beefier cedar hangers currently in my closet.

The holes where they are inserted are too large. The ends of all the hangers are rough underneath, and the part where pants are hung do not look like cedar and are flimsy. The main part is cedar and if you don't mind working on them----I still would not recommend them!

Almost every one of them has separated either at the metal hook, where the bottom cross bar meets the side bars, or at both places! While wood glue fixes these issues, the fact remains that these hangers have shoddy workmanship. I have kept using them despite their flaws, and I refresh them with cedar oil. I would not buy them again, however.

Reviewed by kawr from Sacramento, CA on Saturday, January 19, 2013these were terribly disappointing. I ordered 2 packs, and within a month 2 of the 8 split the cedar wood at the metal hook, making them unusable. This was with no great weight - sweaters, not coats.
