Reviewed by Remi from NYC on Sunday, October 21, 2012I bought this product for my closets. When I first unpacked it I was able to smell the cedar. Once I hung them in the closed the sent disappeared. I bought them to fight off moths, I don't know if it'll work without the scent.

Answer These little cedar sachets can last years depending on air flow and where there being used. Even after a year the cedar still smells strong. To replace if you needed it, cut up the little pouch, refill and sew the top up to ensure closure.
