Great American Hanger Co. Scarf Hanger

This scarf is great! It is just what I needed to hold all of my scarves. I bought two, and all of my scarves fit and are easy to see and access. No more digging through drawers and finding wrinkled scarves, or not finding what you want at all or in time. This is a perfect organizer and it hangs anywhere. The wood is beautiful and strong the metal is solid too. An overall fantastic product.

I bought 2 and they are almost full. I did not realize that I had such a collection of scarves. I might need to downsize. Each slot is large enough for even large scarves and shawls, if you don't mind them threaded through instead of folded into squares. The inside of the hole is unfinished and gives enough friction to hold the slippery ones. For an expensive, delicate or knitted item, you may not want to use, just in case it could snag. No snags on mine , so far.

I cannot believe how much space this hanger saved me. I love to find things that help me get more organized!

So this is a clever design, but I'm glad I read the reviews because I agree that the inside of the holes for storage needs to be sanded, especially if you are going to store fine scarves in it. I bought this for silk scarves, and I would never place on in this hole until it is sanded. It would definitely damage the scarf very quickly and you would ruin your beautiful scarves (who wants that?). IF you are going to store winter scarves or belts in this, then I wouldn't bother because it's not that rough, but is certainly rough enough to snag a silk scarf. However, this design was clever enough that I bought 4 of them and am going to sand them myself with a fine grit (120) sand paper. Once I do that they will work wonderfully. I have never seen these available any where else so I think they are ultimately a very good buy.

You will need sandpaper to smooth the surface that will touch your scarves.

Since Katrina I have just a few ties, so don't need a large capacity tie holder. This does the trick, and will make sure I don't hold on to ties that I no longer like, wear or want.

I have a lot of scarves so I love the design of this product and it's materials. But beware that some of the scarf holes need sanding by hand, by you or your finest scarf might snag.Once sanded it is a great way to organize and store scarves without creasing.For this price one can afford one sheet of 300 grit sandpaper.
