Green Mountain Vista Roman Shade - Insulated, 30x72"

These Roman blinds were very easy to install. They're also pretty sharp looking. The green along the edges is actually a darker green than the picture showed, so they didn't quite match my decor. The green is more on the olive side than on the sage side. They let a nice amount of light through, which is what I was looking for. Overall, a good value, especially for thermal shades. Just be careful if you're looking for a specific shade of sage green.

I was worried about buying something for such an important place in my home with out first "touching" them. The gamble was worth every penny and they installed in a snap !

I bought these for my living room windows in my 75 year old arts and crafts house. Although I like the style and color, I was really looking for shades with more insulating ability. The cotton shades appear to have a negligible thin backing and at first I wondered, "Where's the insulation?!" If you have newer windows I think they'd be fine, but if you're hoping for breeze stopping ability and heat conservation, I'm not so sure how these will perform.

Green Mountain makes a top-quality product. Shades are well-made and a great value for the price. I never skimp on quality, but I am a prudent shopper and want great value for my $. This product fits the bill.

I only bought 2 at first, then when I saw that they were good quality and looked great, I bought one for every window in my house. They work wonderfully at insulating. I haven't had to turn the heat on in any of the rooms in my house yet because they are working wonderfully! They filter light in, so they aren't blackout shades, but they keep the heat in. Highly recommend these for people looking to insulate their house well, while wanting to remain stylish.
