    We have purchased 26 of these blinds for our house and we love how they look, both from the inside and the outside. However, they do not block the light at all. This is very disappointing and we wonder how effective they will be at blocking heat and cold.

    We bought these for my toddler son's room. The are beautiful. The only complaint is that they don't block light as well as we had hoped. They are very thick though--definitely the thickest white romans we had seen--and diffuse the light nicely and keep the room cooler.
