Next year, this will save me the blisters I got planting annuals under a stupid ornamental tree that my husband won't get rid of. I can step on this and cut the roots away. All the roots.

Haven't used it because it's a gift, but it seems sturdy and heavy for its size.

I bought this to use in a desert landscape I need something that will allow me to reach in between some very spikey and prickly plants. It offers a very long extension. The telescoping handle locks in place and held up nicely. The only problem was the small shovel head bent after a few uses. I bent it back into shape but its not meant to do any serious digging. I really intended this to reach into small tight spaces and it did the job for me.
