5.0 out of 5 stars. great "personal item" for air travel
Reviewed by highpockets from Northern MN on Thursday, March 12, 2015
The main reason I bought this bag is that its dimensions closely match the "personal item" air passengers are allowed in addition to a normal-sized carry-on. Worked great on my latest trip, easily fit under the seat in front of me.

It's a fairly no-frills bag but the construction seems very durable. Heavyweight material, straps, stitching, and zippers. Shape is boxy but at the same time streamlined in the sense of very few places to snag on things. The small side pockets covered by the velcro flap are good for small items.

The shoulder strap is a little short, (and lacks a pad) but I was able to sling it like a messenger bag fairly comfortably, and used it as a daypack on some short hikes.

I'd definitely recommend this bag. It's a straightforward small duffel bag (with great dimensions for air travel) that seems to be very well made.

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Love it

Pros: it is a great bag for the price. It is very roomy and versatile. I just went on vacation and brought this in the car. I fit tons of books, mags, DVDs etc. Cons: I wouldn't use it for a laptop but a tablet can fit in it with no problems. A bit big for an everyday purse but I like it so much that is what I am using it for.

About Gregory

After designing his first backpack as a Boy Scout at the age of 14, Wayne Gregory dedicated his career to making outstanding gear, a mission that eventually led him to create Gregory Mountain Products in 1977. From the beginning, Gregory backpacks have been engineered using a combination of field research and customer feedback in order to enhance durability, fit and function. The brand has pioneered many industry firsts, such as multiple pack sizes with different frame, harness and waist belt dimensions. They also developed the first waist belt system that offered a variety of hip angles. Not surprisingly, Gregory backpacks have been praised in a wide range of publications, from Backpacker magazine to National Geographic Adventure.
