Reviewed by Buen Camino from south carolina on Monday, June 17, 2013I bought this for the Camino Frances that I began 4/2013. It is an amazing pack..very comfortable. I'm 5'10 and was fine with a small frame. It was a little heavy at first but within a few days we became one. There is a tendency to fill it up and during the camino which was 500 miles I had to send stuff home ( only once) otherwise it was too heavy for me climbing to 1600 meters. I packed and re-packed it everyday (arriving at alberques and leaving next morning) and never had one second of regretting the purchase. It fit nicely as carry on flying to Madrid overhead (fully packed) and also back. Most comfortable pack....I tried on about 6 others before this one but was sold immediately.

The only problem is the weight 5lb ouch to mush weight to carry on a backpack trip. a lot of compartments plenty of space. I wish the cords were shorter as i find it hard to keep control of alll the flapping cords...lol

Reviewed by topshot from Maine on Tuesday, April 16, 2013Here is the good, the bad and the ugly regarding this pack: The good: 1. It is EXTREMELY comfortable. 2. It holds everything but the kitchen sink. 3. It can be customized. 4. It has a lifetime warranty. The bad: 1. It isn't the lightest pack in the world (but is so comfortable you won't feel the weight). 2. Because it's so body-specific, it requires custom fitting. In my case, I was a size small frame, but due to being overweight, a size large waist belt and size medium shoulder harness. I contacted the Gregory folks and they swapped out those pieces free of charge and sent them to my home via FedEx .But you still need to figure out sizing and that can be complicated. Also wanted to mention that this is a very pricey pack, but thanks to Sierra Trading Post I was able to get a steal of a deal.

After looking around in the outdoor store and online I finally found this on Derailed. I called the 800 number and spoke with a friendly woman who let me know the pack was in stock and it was also the same pack she owns. This will be mostly used for overnight camping and extended trips. She was sold on this pack after trying it on in the store as it is the most comfy pack you'll find. I'm very happy with the purchase.. Thanks Derailed!!

My daughter-in-law just borrowed mne for a recent backpacking trip and loved it so much that she decided to get the same model. I got her the close-out red color (a screamin' deal at Sierra TP) for an early Xmas present and she is thrilled. While initially searching for packs, both of us had narrowed our choice down to the Deva vs. a similar-sized competitor model. Both were very comfortable with good suspension and adjustability. The Deva won with it's additional features (design and placement of the pockets, the expandability, extra straps and tie-ons). I am 5'11'' and my daughter-in-law is about 5'7''. The size medium fit both of us. This is not a minimalist pack. It's on the heavy size for the capacity. But if you like a pack where you can sort contents into different pockets, find things easily, and strap on a bunch of extras, this is your pack. It's best for trips under a week where you can share tent and utensil weight with other hikers - or with cache drops. This is a well-built pack that should last for years.

Answer It will take any size of hydration bladder, the most common is the 3L or 100 oz bladder.

Answer We do not have belts that are sold separately as we only receive overstock or closeout items, not extra parts. You could contact Gregory directly or another retailer to see if they have an extra belt available.
