This pack has really proven itself worth every cent! It expands to hold a suprizingly large amount of gear while still remaining very comfortable. Excellent construction and workmanship.I would definitely suggest this pack to anyone.

This is well made bag, however the shoulder straps were too narrow and rubbed my neck, also the padding was just ok. Fine for really light loads but anything more than 15lbs or so would be uncomfortable. I really love the design of Gregory bags and my husband carries the Gregory Triconi 60 and loves it.

Bought [...] this pack for a 3 day AT Oct trip. EXTREMELY comfortable, but NO bottom access for sleeping bag. Had to leave at home because couldn't get colder weather bag down into the pack sufficiently. However this must be best ventilated pack - the space in the lumbar region is ridiculous so the air flow would be great. Probably has too much space if you are carrying summer bag and gear, but impossible to get cold weather bag down enough..... rare miss for Gregory.

I recently ordered this pack and it is everything I was looking for. The fit is perfect, I love how adjustable it is and it fit my hydration system perfectly. Great little side pockets on the waist belt for a camera and quick to grab items (like chap stick and a hair clip).

Used this for a weekend camping trip and sleeping bag, change of clothes, and more fit comfortably in the bag. A lot of zippers and pockets, and adjustable.

I just finished a 38 mile, 4 day backpacking trip on the Appalachian Trail. It was easy to organize my gear in this pack. I wished the pocket for the water bladder was not inside the main compartment, and quickly found that it was easier to load the water bladder into the outside pocket so it could be removed, refilled, and reloaded without unloading the whole pack. I LOVE the little pockets on the hip belt. They're great for snacks and my camera.

I have been in the market for a wicked light pack for short weekend backpacking trips. I got this to try in XS (my torso size which often limits volume in a pack) and was able to fit most of the gear I would take on such a trip, including a synthetic bag, full length sleep pad, and a two-man tent (without poles in this experiment)! I was totally impressed, though back was just slightly overstuffed (assumed hiking partner would carry the stove and poles, as I had the tent). I was a little concerned that it might be a little lower volume than I wanted - the XS is about 2500-2600 cu inches, and I was looking for a 3000 or so cu in backpack. Whala! The Jade 60 is now available on STP (wasn't when I ordered the Jade 50)...so I am upgrading to this slightly higher volume back and will run with it! This way, I can carry all the essentials (just needed room for the poles and the stove). I measure between 15.5 and 15.75 inches, and find the XS to be a better fit than the small (good for 16-18")- very comfortable, and the suspension felt good with a full realistic load. Good shoulder adjustments so the weight sat on my hip instead of my neck. Was not as close to the body as I am used to with my older chimney packs, but I look forward to the added ventilation I will get, and since I am going light (15-20 lbs MAX), I am not as concerned about that. I am 5'7", weigh about 130 lbs...more legs than torso, so I really appreciated finally finding a pack I could wear that was not all wrapped around below my hip bones or diggin into my hip bones due to sitting too low! I am happy with the find in the JADE line and would say if you want to be light and fast on your feet next time you go backpacking for 1-2 nights, then check this one out. I love the Gregory line as they make women specific bags that actually fit women. I am writing them a letter of approval for sure!
