Gregory Jade 60 Backpack - Internal Frame (For Women)

This is a great women-specific pack, thoughtfully designed, well-built, reasonably light for the features & capacity. Its maiden voyage was a three-days/nights backpack of nearly 40 miles, and though I'm neither a frequent backpacker (though I would like to do more) nor an obsessive gear-head, I did my research for a pack that would do the job and have enough "comfort"-type features without weighing a ton. This pack carried 30 lbs. so comfortably--I never felt any soreness, chafing, etc, in shoulders or hips, and the "Jetstream" ventilation on the back panel really works. A big plus for me is the way the hip belt tightens by pulling the straps in toward the body, which allows it to be cinched down tightly and transfer the weight load properly. The little stash pockets on the hip belt are a nice touch, too. Now if only it could have prevented the blisters...but that's another story.

Gregory always makes a great pack. This one does its job well.

This is my first purchase of a heavy duty backpack, and this one lives up to my expectations. Intelligent design with the user in mind and a female-specific fit make this a great choice!

Great for first time hiking. Using it for a four day hike on the Incan trail. Comfortable on shoulders an waist.

I bought the bag for a two month stay off the grid in Mexico. I've traveled for months at a time before with a top load pack and hated it--this one is easier to pack and access my things, for which there is plenty of room. I haven't left for my trip yet but I have been packing and playing with the bag--it feels like it is massaging your lower back when you walk with it on. I can't wait to use it, this bag seems to be exactly what I need.
