This is a great women-specific pack, thoughtfully designed, well-built, reasonably light for the features & capacity. Its maiden voyage was a three-days/nights backpack of nearly 40 miles, and though I'm neither a frequent backpacker (though I would like to do more) nor an obsessive gear-head, I did... Read More

Have not not had the chance to field test this bag yet but just from overall appearance I would the following thoughts. The hip padding on the hip looked very good, but the chest snap had no up and adjustment, the back padding looked adequate. This is not a big bag, great for a minimalist, not for taking all the comforts of home with you on a backpacking trip. Water bottle holders a little short, not for tall bottles. Would describe myself as a comfort driven minimalist

I recently purchased this pack to replace my old Gregory, which was a 70L and had tons of external pockets. This pack was an excellent replacement! It's streamline form allows for great weight distribution when packed, yet the single external pocket allows for a perfect place for easy-access to rain gear. As a long-distance hiker, the lightweight design of this pack has served me well. My only fault with this pack is that the brain doesn't have a replacement hip belt buckle, which has come in handy many times. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this pack for any weekend or multi-week adventure!

Wow, things have really changed. I have been holding on to my early 90's pack with all of the adventures it has accompanied me on. But I thought it was time to try a pack made for women. It really feels sooooo much better! Less sweat and access to the pack from the bottom is great! Love the detachable day pack and finally easy access pockets on your hip belt! Yippie!

This pack was very comfortable and lightweight. I liked the pockets in the waistbelt. My only complaints were that I could not get my own water bottle out of the pockets, and had to have a fellow hiker grab it for me. I also erred in thinking that this pack would be big enough. I wish I'd gotten the next size up.
Overall, I like the product except for the h2o bottle pockets.
