Gregory Swerve Messenger Bag

This messenger bag now my purse. It is lightweight and easy to find things in. I added a small organizer on the inside since it does not have any interior pockets.

The Swerve is a sleek little messenger bag from Gregory. Lifting up the softshell flap you find 2 softshell slip in pockets and a zipper which closes the main compartment. Along the back is another slim zippered compartment. The long strap is adjustable and comfortable to wear. There are two very small slip in pockets on the sides - too small for an iPhone, but perhaps a Nano would fit. This bag is perfect for travel, as it not only has a flap, but also a zipper closure, making it very secure. I like the sleek styling, and of course it is stellar Gregory quality. But . . . I had to return it. When stuffed full (water bottle, book, epipen, wallet, phone, keys, snack), the flap didn't stay shut, and as the softshell material is somewhat stiff, the whole flap stuck out away from the bag. If the bag had a buckle or velcro closure I think there wouldn't be this problem, but the magnetic closure is placed too far down and is not strong enough to keep the flap in place. If you don't stuff your bags full, then this one should work for you. The brown color is gorgeous!

I got this bag to take on trips. I use it to carry books, water bottle, snack, etc. I have taken it in the car, and plan to take it on an airplane trip. It has a couple of inside pockets that aren't very useful, but the main compartment is easy to access, it looks stylish, not too big, and the nylon exterior and waterproof interior is what I wanted for easy care.

I bought this bag for my daybag while traveling around Wales next Summer. Perfect size to stuff some maps and brochures into and still have room for a camera and any mementos I pick up along the way. I'm not a big fan of purses, and this is sporty enough to suit me. And it's an awesome price for the quality bag. This will last me a long time.

I purchased this to carry a large bible to bible study or books to book club. The price was good. My large print bible fits,but there is room for little else. I like this bag, for a few books or notebooks, but it would not be large enough for business.
