Gregory Z22 Backpack - Internal Frame

I purchased this as a gift, but I was pleased with what I received. So, I have not personally 'tried-it-out'. I did try it on for fit and think it will be great to adjust and make just right.

Very comfortable, well made day pack. Hydration bladder (not included) cuts capacity, but fine for day hikes and the "Ten Essentials". Also bought the smaller version for wife. She loves it.

This is a very nice pack. Gregory makes great stuff. I bought this pack for day-hikes in the spring-fall seasons in the northeast. Works great for 1(and only 1) person's change of clothes, lunch and a light jacket. The hydration pocket suspends a 2 liter bladder quite well. The suspension is great. I rarely notice that I am wearing the pack as the waistbelt transfers a great deal of the load to my hips seamlessly. The 2 waist belt pockets are a godsend if you like to carry a small digital camera and gps unit or phone. The only issue I have with this pack is the mesh bottle pockets. They are made with a very fine mesh. They stretch well but when I put my 1 liter nalgene in it, it tore out. I put a call into Gregory and its being relpaced. Great customer sevice. Great purchase.
