Reviewed by Day Hiker from Reno, NV on Monday, April 22, 2013This is a very nice shirt. I bought the XL and it fits just right. As a western cut, it is tailored for a fit body. I have since bought two more, one in the same color, and another in the only other color they had.
Reviewed by PR-ny from NYC on Thursday, April 18, 2013A bit tight fit (XL closed to L).
Sleeves are very long.
Material is heavyweight brushed cotton.
Olive color is darker than pictured, and I don't like it.
Reviewed by Emerald City Repeat Customer from Seattle on Sunday, March 31, 2013I've bought this shirt for my boyfriend and again for my father, and both absolutely love it! It washes well (doesn't pill like most flannel shirts), is thick & warm, and very soft. Excellent quality and an excellent price! Very flattering too because of the slim cut along the torso.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by outdoorzy from Sacramento on Wednesday, February 6, 2013Very warm, feels nice on the skin. Snap buttons. Good fit. High quality.

Not as burly as other chamois shirts (Moose Creek), but keeps in the warmth nonetheless.
Question & Answer
“Is 9 oz. fabric heavy weight or light weight? It means nothing to me. For example, is this heavier than the Grizzly Ranger shirt? Can't tell from the ad, as the Ranger doesn't tell a weight. Do you see the problem?”
The 9 oz feels a just a little heavier to me in the Ranger shirts. My husband has both styles (ranger and maverick).|The ranger shirt has about a 1/2 inch to 1 inch shorter sleeves and is a little roomier in the body. The Wrangler is a little more slim cut with longer sleeves and shirt tail. |Both are great shirts and he wears them all the time in winter conditions.
IT IS A HEAVY WEIGHT - SHOULD BE GREAT IN THE COLD WEATHER - WORE THE OTHER GRIZZLY TO THE FOOTBALL GAME LAST FRIDAY - NICE AND TOASTY - BE CAREFUL - WASH COLD ONLY AND HANG DRY THE FABRICE WILL SHRINK - THE WORKMANSHIP AND FINISHING ARE VERY WELL DONE AND THE SNAP BUTTONS ARE REALLY GOOD LOOKING - GO AHEAD TREAT YOURSELF TO A FEW DOZEN!
I would call 9 oz. medium weight on the verge of heavy weight, but not quite full heavy weight
