    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I am pretty much a spot on size 32" waist. These shorts were enormous! My wife purchased two pair (size small and medium) based on the previous reviews of running large she wanted to be sure one pair fit. The size small nearly fell off of me. I do not suggest these unless you are a much larger person, in that case I might suggest purchasing two sizes smaller than normal.

    Bought these to wade in while fly fishing in warm weather.Zero cotton, despite description.100% tight weave nylon,which is what I wanted.Stylish these are not.I like the below knee leg length.I don,t like the super wide leg openings.If you are in/around water these seem to serve well.But if you are looking for a fashion statement I would not recommend.I would suggest a size smaller.I have a 31 inch waist and the medium size is huge on me.Thank goodness for the built in belt.

    I am 5' 11", 150 lbs and these shorts are too baggy for me, the material feels and looks great for water shorts. The elastic fits my 30 waist perfectly, and the nylon belt is a nice touch. My main problem with these is the length is too long, and they are slightly too baggy. Other than that, great shorts
