    Nicely made jacket, great materials, and attractive style, but I will return it because it fits very oddly. I am 36-30-40, 5'8" and the jacket was snug about the hips while being very baggy on top, not just about the bust but under the arms as well. With my dimensions this isn't an unusual problem, but this jacket is an extreme case, it appears it would best fit someone with fairly high bust-hip ratio.

    Several years ago I lost a North Face jacket that I just loved-- and North Face no longer makes the style. I saw this jacket and thought it looked pretty close to the material, style, and fit of my old jacket. Well, it exceeded expectations! Haven't had it long enough to comment on the durability, but it looks like it will withstand just about anything. The material is heavier than many jackets, so I think it will last well. I do recommend ordering a size up if you are close to the borderline of a size range, especially if you plan to layer underneath.

    I would normally buy a small, but chose a medium due to comments by other purchasers. The medium allows room for warmer under layers which I was after. The jacket also looks good without under layers. I like a jacket that has room to move when you ski - this fits the bill and looks great.

    This is a great ski jacket that fit well and is long in the body and a good fit. It's a warm shell but needs an under fleece while skiing in low temps. I love the extra pockets and they all zip with easy access. The zip air vents are a nice extra.
