    Followed previous comments. I got a 2XL, to ensure comfortable fit for my L-XL trunk. The extra leg length was nice; I have long legs. Wears wells; sheds water nice. I like bibs; if no bib, I like a suspender. Haven't got a chance to really abuse it yet but for its price range its just fine. I wouldn't chose it for rough rock/ice mix mountaineering or ice climbing, but would be fine in the snow and tree-line.

    The comments about sizing are to be heeded. I normally run size large in a ski pant. Mainly in the waist/seat. Ordered a large, thinking that the sizing couldn't be that wacky. It was. The large fit like XL plus and cut to fit a 7 ft tall person. I returned it for a medium and it is still a bit baggy through the seat and thighs. The length is still long. I'll keep it because the general quality seems good and the price was right.

    I haven't taken them out yet to see how they perform, but I have tried them on and they are definitely impressive. I always have trouble finding anything that is long enough for me. These pants fit more like a 34X34. They would even be comfortable for a 35X35. They do sinch down as well, but If I was a 31 in the waist I think they would be too bulky. I hope this helps....

    These pants seem like they are really high quality, but the waist band doesn't open at the fly(only a hole), and they are too long. Unfortunate, but I will be returning them.

    Used brand new for back country yurt trip. Love the smooth full length zips for skinning. They are very warm, and maybe too warm for spring skinning. Thighs are large. Very tough material. Well made.

    Beside feeling a little large, I have no complaints regarding these pants. I'm a medium on everything,(5'8" 150 lbs)and I ordered a medium in these and they just seem a little big. Not so much that I would want to return them for a small (though I think a small in these pants would work for me). I could just be straddling the fence there. They are the outer layer I grab first when I head out to ski or hike in the winter weather.
