    I'm a raft guide, and I've been using these as splash pants for the river. Because they don't have a waist gasket like traditional splash pants, you still get a bit wet, but I still love these pants. If you're using them for skiing/snowboarding/snowshoeing/rain pants, these are great. They also seem to be rather rip-resistant and rugged. Don't hesitate to buy.

    Heavy rip-stop nylon outer shell looks super durable and abrasion resistant, but is stiff and heavy feeling and borderline uncomfortable (at least when garment is new). Hope it softens up some after a few washings. Slim cut provides snug fit that looks spiffy but restricts full range of motion for me (6-0, 195, 34w). Back pocket stuffable with included waist belt a nice touch.

    Pants were great when strapped tight around my boots, I was in thigh high snow moving in the woods with no problems of leakage or warms. The pant's seams are taped just like many wetsuits I wear that's how I know they will work well. They are a great investment for outdoor living.
