GSI Outdoors Camp Wok - 11"

I was looking for an all in one cooking pan when I chanced upon GSI Camp wok. I chose the 11" version. I used it for back packing, Adventure motorcycle desert trips. I like to cook and insist to have fine food while on the trails. Match made in haven. I use in conjunction with a Kovea Titanium Gas Stove (88 grams/3.1oz. I'd rather pay more for a small/light and powerful cooker and go for a versatile Wok like a GSI. The bottom of the pan has machined lines that GRIPS to the Kovea's 3x support arms. No slip n sliding. That is impressive for a wok this size on a small stove like the Kovea. I also use a Kovea Scout Stove as a second stove to cook simultaneously "small but not as powerful as the Titanium stove". Tuff Stuff I love the hard wearing surface unlike other cheapo stuff that scratches on the first go or so. The wok is so easy to clean. The non stick surface is of high quality and you have to see & use it to understand why. The handle snaps back and forth positively. It is cool enough to hold even in the heat of cooking. I have dropped the wok a couple of times onto gravel & no dents so far. Versatile all rounder The weight is also spot on for a wok of this size. I like the EVEN heat distribution & retention of this wok. Very important for the kind of cooking I do. Size matters so I have cooked a whole chicken on it “all chopped up". Versatile wok with all kinds of cooking can be done on it. The wok comes with a superb cover which helps to cook faster and keeps the insects away. Price is right With the price, one cannot go wrong with this wok if one ones to have good food on the trials. Eat well & eat a lot too.
