    needs a screen on it...maybe a quarter inch of frotn with soy milk...had one with screen that worked well...but container was glass and broke. this is non breakable

    This will be a great product at our remote cabin where we have no electricity. Heating some milk and frothing it up with a bit of strong coffee will be a wonderful, low tech substitute for our morning lattes.

    I have been looking for a long time for a frother to take backpacking. Although I am ultra-light for the most part, the thought of a latte on the trail haunted me. It is light and not glass. The bad news: It really does not do a good job as is. The good news: by putting a little screen like you would use for a sprout maker in the bottom it makes the thickest, creamiest froth! And quickly, I might add.

    I have been looking at frothers and also measure cups as I have been using an Aeropress and wanted to make 2 expresso shots at a time and split into 2 cups of coffee. After reading that a screen could be added to improve the froth, I decided to try this. I used a piece of plastic screen from when I fixed my patio screen door. It works great, fast and easy to clean. Very happy with my purchase.

    my small french press screen fit this nicely but since it's so short it overflows easily on the upstroke. I do like I can make a nice foam without electricity or a battery.
