GSI Outdoors Pioneerware Enamel Dinnerware - 12-Piece Set

The price offered for the set was so competitive that I could not turn down the opportunity to purchase these. My intended use is for a camping trip at a state park in Massachusetts. I intend to teach my nephews responsible backpacking skills.The park facility has Ger (yurt) camp sites that we will be using as a base camp from which we'll conduct some backpacking excursions (one day trip and one lightweight overnight trip w/ minimalist gear). This set fit the need for the meals during the base camp phase. The dish set is well made and will serve our purpose. The gauge (weight) of the plates is a little on the light side therefore the four stars instead of five. But my expectation is that these will be quite durable and are definitely worth the price.I also like the fact that we will not be using disposable cups, plates, etc. and therefore not be adding to the trash load at the park. I found the service [...] form Sierra Trading Post to be outstanding. I will definitely purchase from them again.

I bought one set to put away with our camping gear and one set to use as child safe dishes. With all the concerns of plastic and two rowdy boys (2 & 4), I'm happy to have found an alternative to plastic plates. My boys love how light they are (though this makes them much easier to fly through the air... is that a positive?)!!!

Great kit for our camper with kids! Non-breakable, lighweight and easy to clean. Holds great cup of coffee. The green color is pretty then in pictures. Got this set for a great price! Glad to get this set over plastic dinnerware..no doubt!

I haven't used this camping cookware yet, but I am sure it will do the job. I usually use all paper, but have become more ecologically friendly in my middle years. I am sure we will have this item for a long time.

This product seems designed and manufactured w/ the quality I need and want in a product intended for outdoor use.
