Bought it as a gift for my son. He loves it. The leather band was too large for him so he had to have it cut down.

Very nice watch for the price, and comes with a very nice jewerly case to hold it in. I have small wrists so I had to add a notch to the band so it would fit, but it wasnt a problem.

I purchased this as an anniversary gift for my husband. The watch is beautiful however I should have realized from the crown position in the picture that the watch is made for a left handed person. Might not be an issue for most but its is to my husband so I'm returnig the watch.
    • Pros: Good Quality

I purchased this as an anniversary gift for my husband - the watch is beautiful and the craftmanship is superb however from the picture I should have realized that the crown position is for a left handed person - might not be a big deal for some but my hsuband will more than likely return this amazing watch because of this.

After much research and review of automatic timepieces, I purchased a Gevril Lexington #2603L watch for myself, to replace a similar-style, but different branded, watch that was stolen from me. The first thing you'll notice when you receive this timepiece is how superb a presentation Gevril makes with the wooden jewelry box that houses this handmade, limited edition, Swiss timepiece. With its high-gloss dark cherry finish, piano hinge that extends the length of the box and push-button brass closure, it's extremely handsome and functional, and will look great sitting on your dresser. The box is big enough to store your Gevril timepiece, as well as several rings. There is also a compartment for cufflinks, a moneyclip or perhaps another timepiece. The watch itself is absolutely fabulous. The bezel is polished stainless steel, while the case is a brushed stainless. The blue hands contrast against the white face, giving the watch a 'sporty' look for casual wear, while remaining elegant enough for dress. It was easy to set the time, day and date, and the timepiece is so far keeping the correct time and will run for days on a single flick of your wrist. Other automatic timepieces I've owned, including the one that was stolen from me, required daily winding to continue running and keeping accurate time. I'm yet to get the moonphase dial synchronized, but will keep working at it. 4 of the 5 jewels (rubys) are visible on the back of the watch case. They are very bright and appear to be of high quality, like the rest of the timepiece. The only cons I see are that, while the timepiece is water-resistant to 5 ATM, the leather band isn't and will wear and requirement replacement much sooner than a bracelet band. Also, the second hand lands on each second and does not sweep across the face. That said, the Gevril Lexington is a very nice, quality timepiece. On a side note, my wrist is 7-1/2". I adjusted the band to fit and still had one hole remaining.
