GV2 by Gevril Soho Quartz Watch - Limited Edition (For Men)

For the guy who wears his watch on the right wrist, this is a rare find: a watch with the stem on the left of the dial -- at least in the version offered by Sierra Trading.

Nice piece. Gevril is not a top of the line watch, so you are not paying extra for advertising costs or "prestige." It is solid, with a sapphire crystal, and an open face back. You can't see anything moving, however. Of note, the picture of this item makes the face look white. It isn't. It's silver.

Very good watch at a great price.

The elegant watch came in a laquered case--with an instruction manual for diffrent models. Fortunaley, I found the company website and US headquarters who sent me the appropropriate manual. You are able to follow instructions somewhat with the correct instructional manual, but they are not precise nor clear (clockwise turns were often conflated with counter-clockwise turns described in the manual). This may be a result of instructions for a crown set to the right, whereas this Lexington model (not identified nor cited in the Sierra catalogue) has its crown on the left. A Gevril representative sent me written instructions that, along with the manual, enabled me to coordinate settings for the moonphase, date, day, and time. Dates are small and difficult to read. With some independent and considerable phone calls and research, I was able to operate the watch.

A very nice watch. It was what I expected to get after reading other comments and shopping around. I was disapointed not getting the correct owners manual. I had to go through Gevirl and it took a few weeks. I would expect a watch of this quality and value would come with the correct information.
