However, only a few month after I bought a Gevril watch, the number 1 at the twelve 'o clock position fell off. It was repaired under warranty, but I waited almost 2 months and when the watch was returned it was repaired, but the number 1 now had scratches. The back of the watch where it was opened, also showed marks. It broke down again before the 24 months warranty was up. This time the repairs were done more quickly. The watch worked for about a year, and now it has stopped again. I am not impressed. When it was working I used to wear the watch to work; I work in an office and there is nothing there that would explain my bad luck. Therefore, I would never pay more than $100 - $150 for a Gevril watch.
