Not for any room you need privacy, very thin, could work with the right roman shade. Great price with coupon, but can not use alone, too thin. No lining or backing!

These curtains are perfect for my guest room, where they look very elegant and filter sufficient light to darken the room somewhat. If there were other color/pattern options, I would order more for other rooms.

They are velour, not velvet [not even velveteen], and they are amethyst, not purple. If I had known these two factors going in to it, I would not have purchased them in the first place. The fabric is not very substantial, and looks thin hanging on the rods.

other than off coloring ,nice product

The fabric is really what makes these curtains a standout. The weave is such that there is a varying thickness which gives the illusion of multiple colors. I'm hanging these in a room with aqua walls and taupe carpet. The varigated grey color picks up on the taupe which pulls the room together in my case. The color has flecks of black and light silver too. The pattern is a bit odd that it looks like it has a million snags but I dig it. (Haven't hung yet though.)

Very special and very price right

We are in college housing which has old small-hook style drape rods. So, we needed curtains which would fit over the rods. These do, and they are attractive and work with our decor. We use blackout cellular blinds next to the windows and these serve to allow light through when the blinds are up or to add color when the blinds are down. No negative comments here.

I ordered 8 pairs of these. When I hung the first pair they looked great then I went on to hang the rest. That is when I noticed that the lines that run horizontally (yes there is kinda of a straight line)were either going down hill or uphill on some of them. So I mixed and matched to get the ones that were closest to lining up straight. The squares don't line up when drawn but I don't have a problem with that. The problem was when one curtain ran straight and the other one down hill. It is as if when they sewed them the started crocked. I returned three pairs and Sierra is working to fix the problem by pulling and looking at them so we shall see. They are really nice and I like the look of them but I wish they all had run straight.

The Sheer material is nice. I really like the pattern and have ordered several pairs. The layered look is interesting with the sheers and the curtains. I had to return one curtain as it was a different length than the other one. One sheer was not sewn at the top and after I sent that back I noticed on another sheer that the pattern didn't run straight. If you want the patterns to match in the center when drawn they don't.
