I ordered this bag for bike camping, and found it a bit too large a pack size, and the outer fabric too heavy. I returned it and bought a Marmot Helium bag instead to save on weight and space.
However, I have been a Boy Scout and Scout Leader for over 30 years, including doing all sorts of back packing. I would have loved to have had this bag for general backpacking and camping. There the outer cover would be great and the size would not have been an issue.

LOVE this sleeping bag - extremely well constructed with a differential cut (inner layer is smaller that outer layer to allow down to fluff) and filled with quality goose down (90/10 - NOT from live plucked geese). I also love that Haglofs is an environmental friendly Swedish company. The bag lofts like crazy to keep you warm with no COLD spots (had problems with cold spots with the Marmot 20 degree flathead down, which despite a 10 degree warmer temp rating felt much colder that the Haglofs Hypna 30, and did not loft nearly as high as the Haglofst) and opens up fully to use as a blanket in warmer weather. I purchased both the 15 and 30 degrees bags to compare. Both are extremely well made, roomy for a mummy bag, with a great fluffly collar to keep the cold out and a comfy hood. The zipper is one of the best I have seen in a sleeping bag with its snagless feature to minimize snags. This bag lofts up high no matter how much it has been compressed and comes with with a nice, quality compression bag and all cotton muslin storage bag (rather than mesh which is common). Fabric is very comfy and quiet and feels like sleeping in a cloud. I highly recommend the 15 degree over the 30 degree one if you are looking for a all year round bag because you can always open it up if too warm. Temperatures rating appears to be accurate. I would expect the 15 degree bag to keep us warm in temperature in the low 20's and the 30 degree in temps in the low 30s, which is plenty for Northern California.

First off, I knew just from picking up the package from the porch this was going to be a good bag it was so light! But wh en I opened it up Iw as even more impressed. The construction is top notch, with extra insulation where needed. It hasn't gotten that cold here in Southern California yet, but for the conditions I've had to put it through I've had no problems...

I have to disagree with the last review on this product regarding the fact that the sleeping bag is cold. Fact is in a down sleeping bag, YOU are the radiator. So indeed if you enter your bag cold, you will stay cold for an extended period of time. The idea is to get in your bag when you are warm (drinking a hot tea or having moved around to warm your body) and you will be cozy in this bag. This is truly a higher quality bag evidence by the attention to details, quality construction and quality of geese down used. As such, no matter how long or how many times it has been compressed, it never fails to ffuff up high for a cozy night sleep with NO COLD spots which always amazes me. It is definitely worth the extra dollars. This is truly a top of the line product from a nordic company, not quite known in the US. Thank you STP for offering this product. You won't regret choosing it.

Took this backpacking on the Oregon Dunes, and the wife loved how cozy it was inside, particularly with the extra insulated footbox (her feet often get cold). Stuffed down very small, was light, and easy to strap onto our packs. No complaints, and a great value. Fully unzipped, it dealt with a pretty wide temperature range, as well (85F days, 40F nights, with ~20mph steady winds coming off the ocean).

This bag is well-made with great zippers. I compresses down to football size. The thermal collar is a nice feature I haven't had in a bag before. This helps keep you from breathing into your bag while sleeping and getting it wet from respiratory condensation.
