I wish that the entire bag was waterproof, not just the head and foot portions, as down can get heavy and lose insulation properties when wet. It packs easily into the compression sack and is very lightweight. Can't wait to use it in the Himalayas.

This bag is actually only EXTREME rated for -35. The COMFORT rating (for men) is closer to 0. This is actually printed on the stuff sack and on the tags. However, despite being falsely advertised, this bag is still worth the money. It's really light, has tons of loft, and is super comfortable. Compression size is pretty good, a lot smaller than most synthetic bags. My only issue is that the zipper snags sometimes and I get worried about ripping the shell, but so far there hasn't been any marks or tears at all.

It's a great sleeping bag for the money. It looks and feels like more expensive bags on the market and I can't say enough GOOD words about it. Great for cold weather campers/backpackers. European rating system is more accurate than US. Comfort temperature rating for this bag is around 0F. Extreme temperature rating is -35F. I wouldn't risk to use this bag under 35F. This bag is roomy, great for rollers and beefy guys or extra layering clothes, a thick draft collar, planty of goose down insulation and higher insulation rated foot section. Thank you Sierra for a great buy.
