Wanted this to work for my husband. It is the best quality and style of rain/wind jacket I've come across at a sale price. However, I had to send back due to Haglof's sizing. Honestly, I do not see this as a Sierra Trading issue but instead as a misunderstanding for US shoppers in general as I'v found that many of the Euro brands are slightly smaller than US and that one must pay attention to the sizing specs that are detailed by Sierra Trading with regard to these brands. I would have definitely exchanged for the next size (2XL) for my 6 ft 195 lb husband but it was sold out so we went with the Marmot one (in a similar color) instead. Bottom line: I should have paid more attention to the sizing details in the first place.

Order this as a soft shell for snow shoeing. Would work to keep the wind off you if you layered good. Plan to use this summer hiking. Will compress nicely in my backpack. Felt the price was a little high for it, but it is well made plus looks great on. I order the next size up felt tight under the arms.
