I bought this coat for my semester abroad in Finland. It turned out to be perfect! This coat is probably the warmest one I have ever owned. I went downhill skiing in February about 110 miles north of the Arctic Circle and got hot in just a Smartwool base layer and this coat! I love that it comes with a compression sack and packs pretty small, so when I go back to the US in June I can just pack it in my suitcase. I love the longer length on this coat; it makes it more stylish while keeping more of me warm! It's the perfect coat for a Nordic country, and I'll definitely be wearing it every winter when I return to the Midwest. As for the size, I usually wear a medium in outerwear (I'm 5'6", 145 lbs). At first I thought this medium was a bit too big on me, but then I decided that it was perfect. I think the longer length balances out the extra room in it. The only drawback I would say is that the pink lining has some blue pigment on it where the jacket covers my butt from my rubbing on my dark jeans. But since it's on the inside you can't see it at all so I'm not worried. I definitely recommend this coat!

I loved the coat (I ordered a black coat in Med. I am a size 10-12 & this had enough room to wear a thin vest underneath if needed). I loved the length & the soft pockets. I hood was great with a small visor. I wore it for a day & loved how smoothly the zipper zipped. Guess I jinxed it. On the 2nd & 3rd day I had to fight to get the zipper zipped, so I had to send it back. I was bummed. Great in every other way & I love this brand! Not sure if it was just the coat I received or if every one of these will have zipper issues. The "male" part of the zipper seemed to be made of pretty cheap plastic.

This is a surprisingly warm and cozy coat. When I unpacked it I thought it was too thin and light but, boy, was I wrong! Very comfortable in the cold temps we've been having. The hood is particularly nice -- excellent coverage. My only complaint so far is that the zipper, which is one of the those two-way ones, is hard to get started properly. I'm a little worried it may not hold up over time. I like the coat so much, though, that if the zipper fails I'll probably just put in a new one.

I've ordered this coat twice, black for me and purple for my daughter and sent them back both times. Don't think it will be warm enough for winter in Minnesota and fluffy but not dense enough to warrant it's puffiness. Ordered the medium which was quite large on us even with sweats. Love the colours, cute and light weight but just not the right coat for us.

I love this parka. It is very warm (I live where we see below zero temps) yet very lightweight. I ordered size large, I am 5'10", 145#. There is some room; I can wear multiple layers underneath. The look is functional, yet nice enough to wear with a dress. I love the contrasting pink interior and details. There are four exterior zip pockets and one interior zip pocket. The hood fits well and stays put. I am extremely happy to have this jacket.

I really, really like this coat. It's warm without being bulky. I like the length - some coverage but not so long that it's difficult to get in and out of the car. True to size (large is equivalent to size 12, which is what I wear). The pink lining is just fun, too. Very happy with it.
