5.0 out of 5 stars. Very high quality down jacket.Verified Buyer Reviewed by TAD from Colorado on Saturday, January 2, 2016This European designed parka is the best designed puffy that I have seen in a long while. The outer material is soft and not stiff and its design has a modern look. It is a long parka for sitting int the snow but still looks better that other puffy's for general wear. The best part about the jacket is the warmth, this is the warmest down coat that I have had. The sizes seem to run true. I really like the green color, looks better in person. I was looking for quite some time for an ice climbing/winter mountaineering parka and this fits the bill.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Arizona on Monday, December 28, 2015I sold my North Face Nuptse that I purchased for an Alaska Cruise which worked fine, except really could have used a "warm" hood instead of what was on the jacket. The Haglof, is a super warm jacket and the hood is filled with down. I am currently up north where the weather is around 15 degrees and it works fine. I am 5' 11" , 175 pounds and the XL works perfect, plenty of room to layer.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Brutally Warm!!! Awesome Fit!!!Reviewed by Anonymous from South Texas on Wednesday, December 23, 2015Purchased this jacket to serve as outerwear apres snowboarding and when I visit my folks during North Dakota winters and I'm not disappointed. Today's temperatures here in ND are in the mid-20s and this jacket is brutally warm with just a short sleeve base layer. I would trust this jacket into the -20 range with some extra layers. The downside is that it's 2+ lbs--so this is not your light or even mid-weight, slim and trim jacket for backpacking or for use as a mid layer under a shell (although it will fit under my XL Patagonia and North Face shells). I would characterize it as a slim and trim parka with unbelievable insulation/loft for those that want to brave really cold winter weather--and an awesome value as long as you know that. This jacket travels better than any comparable piece that I've owned over the years, stuffing down with some difficulty into a stuff sack a bit larger than your standard Nalgene bottle (also comes with a nice storage bag). I'm 6'3", 235lbs with 36/37" sleeves--this jacket fits like a dream offering long sleeves, longer torso and a slimmer fit through the body characteristic of Haglofs pieces. The XL should handle someone up to 6'5" as long as they're in decent shape. The hand-warmer pockets, breast pocket and interior pockets are well-designed and the hood is pure genius and very very warm.

5.0 out of 5 stars. It fits and it's warmVerified Buyer Reviewed by Surly cyclist from Ohio on Monday, December 7, 2015I'm 6'6" and the sleeves and body are long enough. This last Sunday I took my kids to a Bills football game. Layered with STP purchased Icebreaker wool, I left the coat unzipped and was warm. Tonight I sat outside and had a cigar and was toasty. It's like wearing a fluffy sleeping bag or pillow, yet it is so light. Love it.
