I would think that it would be hard to exceed 50 lbs with this one. I would call this a good medium size bag (too big for carry on). Everything looks very well made, but haven't had the chance to travel with it yet. I watched it for quite a while and was glad when it became available in black/charcoal. Definitely glad that I purchased it.

I use this in combo with the high sierra rolling back pack. Perfection! I travel a lot for work in the US and abroad finally found the right luggage combo after years of searching.
