Verified Buyer Reviewed by Timberline Stu from Colorado on Tuesday, January 13, 2015Based on the suggested retail price, this ski jacket should be something extra special. It is. So far, I've found it to be totally water and wind proof, exceptionally comfortable and it has a great fit.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Pancho from Türkiye on Monday, December 22, 2014I allready own Haglöfs garment and very satisfied with them. When i saw Coiloir Pro at Stp with an unbelievable price i wanted it. But the color Hurricane Blu exist only size L and the color pistachio is too vibrant for me. So i bought blue size L. Unfortunately it is buggy for me and i gave it to my brother. I hope blue M will be available in the future.
Reviewed by Shreddin365 from Idaho on Thursday, November 13, 2014I just ordered this jacket and got it yesterday... I will say, it runs a bit bigger and at first I wasn't thrilled when I tried it on out of the box.. but the sheer quality of all parts of the jacket, as well as the fact that I will use this jacket strictly for riding make it a great fit for me-- it is definitely a "blower" type of day jacket, with great powder skirt/button attachments for hooking onto snow pant belt-loops, built-in neck gator protector thing (youtube it if you want), obviously awesome goretex material and the whole works for those days when it is gnar out and you need something to keep the pow' out of your jacket. I could go on describing it but the bottom line is that if you are looking for something that looks real neat/fitted for your frame and you don't need a jacket for gnarly, deep snow conditions you are probably better off with something lighter and less "ski jacket"-ish but honestly for all the shredders out there that have been dealing with getting wet and snow down your back, and can afford this jacket I recommend, the sleeves are pretty darn big but actually shorter and better fitted than my last Marmot. Overall it is well constructed and made like it is on purpose, Haglofs jackets are awesome (in my opinion better than any mountain hardwear or marmot I've owned). I shopped specifically for their brand because I could afford it this time and they make some of the best stuff out there. 4 out of 5 because I haven't used it and was a little surprised by the size but I am stoked to use this jacket. Also, the hood is giant but not too giant for my helmet and it's adjustable. This jacket is for riders. Thank you Sierra for delivering on the Haglofs
Reviewed by MA_Vertical from Massachusetts on Sunday, March 23, 2014I purchased this exclusively for skiing and snowboarding. I am around 6'2" and 190 and the large fits well. I'm able to layer as needed, however with a temperature of around 30 you can most likely just get by with a base layer depending on how active you are. The jacket is very well made and works great with a pack (pockets and zippers are accessible when wearing a pack). This soft shell material is very nice. The length of the jacket is great, not short. I've taken advantage of the high collar and hood when it was cold and windy, great features. The collar zips high and can be unzipped slightly to expose a ventilation system that covers your mouth. (I tried this and put the hood over my helmet, works great).
I do have the Pistachio color, it's maybe a little wild for some, but my 5 year old has fun calling me sherbet while I ski. :-)
