I'm always a bit wary about ordering from European clothing companies, since sizing can very greatly from American sizing. But I too a gamble on this. I ordered a large (smallest size avail on STP). I ordered the XL as I'm usually about a 44R in suits. The fit was OK - plenty roomy, but not as big in the chest as an American XL, maybe an inch longer in total length than I would have expected from what is basically a heavy sweatshirt. The exterior is fleece, but with a satin/smooth finish (not the kind of fleece that pills up), and the purple in particular has a second color mixed in. It will be noticed. The fabric is very stretchy and you could layer this over a sweater and even another light jacket, and perhaps also under a roomy shell.

The hood is something else entirely - it's so big it belongs on a parka, although it does have a drawcord to tighten around your face. I've decided not to keep it but I think it may be a left-hand zip (European style) as well, which isn't a dealbreaker for me but it's not an advantage either.

I'm always a bit wary about ordering from European clothing companies, since sizing can very greatly from American sizing. But I too a gamble on this. I ordered a large (smallest size avail on STP). I'm 5'9, 175, chest 42, waist 34 so I tend to fall between Med and Large. I love it - it's made well and the color wasn't as bright as my screen displayed but that was ok. Unfortunately, I had to return it - the arms and body were too long but it fit well across the chest and waist. If it was a little too long, I would've kept it but this just looked sloppy and I knew I wouldn't wear it enough to justify the expense. The quality was good and I would buy this brand again, or if it was offered in a Medium.
