I wore these pants for a week in the backcountry of Glacier. They were great! Lightweight but sturdy. They truly did repel dirt and water - they held up wonderfully and looked great. As other reviewers noted, they do have a long inseam. I'm 5'8 and am at that awkward "do I order a tall in pants or will the regular be better?" Stage. These were plenty long for me. As I was wearing hiking boots they were a great length. Had I been wearing flats, I am sure they would have been too long. I love these pants! though. Just came on looking to buy a pair for a hiker friend as a gift and was sad to see that they are almost sold out. I'm going to have to search around to see if I can find another pair somewhere!

I love these pants. The inseam is about 34" long which is a bit long for a regular, but is great for me. The waist and fit around legs is loose, so they're comfortable, but they're, by no means, baggy, so all around a perfect pair for doing active stuff. The 42 (12) was just right for me at 5'8 155 lbs

Light fabric, high quality, lots of zippers; long in the legs though...a bit big in the waist, but adjustable. Legs come off and on easily.

These are very nice convertible pants, with stretch to make them more comfortable. They seem well made, and the shorts are just above the knee for those of us who prefer longer shorts. At 5'6", 150 lbs., the size 12 fit me to a tee EXCEPT in length. These are easily 3-4" too long! Because of a zipper in the lower leg there is no way to shorten them. Of they came in a shorter inseam, I would buy them. Unfortunately, this pair was returned.
