I am 5'5" 135lb with a short thick waist and broad shoulders: I typically wear size 8-10 top.I ordered L based on my experience w another Euro brand vest which I am very pleased with. Even wearing only a sports bra underneath this vest fits me too snugly to be useful, so I am returning it. The polartec fleece is very soft, light weight yet substantial, gorgeous teal blue.

This garment has quality finishes--zippers on pockets were nice and the tab over the zipper at the top of the neck is nice too---so it doesn't rub your neck if zipped up. Fleece is soft but thick.
