I purchased these for winter camping and snowshoeing/skiing. The fit is perfect for me I am 6'1 and 170lbs and a M tall fit me well. The quality from Haglof is excellent. In my opinion they are nearly as well made as arctryex or patagonia. Can't wait to use them!

I haven't worn them in the snow yet, since it is still early October, but I think these will be the best snow pants I've owned and fit great. I'm 6'3" and 185 lbs and finding something with my waist (32-33) and long legs are tough. So the medium waist and Long legs these pants offer fit the best I've seen. I'm sure they'll hold up too as they have reinforced cuffs.

I took these pants on a fishing trip in Manitoba and sat in a row boat during a 5 hours rain storm and my chest and above was dry, but my inner thighs and crotch were wet (damp). It may be that the seams in that area were not sealed properly. The blurb about these pants claimed all seams were sealed. I will try sealing them. They may be OK for less demanding situations, but if you want really water tight rain pants, these are not going to fill the bill. I was lucky that we only had that one day of rain on this fishing trip and it was pretty warm that day. It could have been a miserable trip if it was cold rain most days.

I've been looking for lightly insulated Goretex ski pants and hoped these fit the bill. The quality of the material was great and the insulation is 40 grams of Primaloft Sport which was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the waist was too big I'm 5'9" 165 and typically wear medium. It was great to find these in a short length which is rare these days of limited production runs for apparel. However he waist was at least 34 inches and maybe larger. And there are no Velcro tabs to adjust the waist like you find on many ski pants. The suspenders are fine for holding up the pants, but I was still left with a couple of inches of extra room in the waist even when wearing a base layer pant and tucking in a base layer top. Nice pants, but I ended up returning them. I still recommend these but watch the fit.
