Reviewed by Meansol from Mobile, Alabama on Thursday, February 27, 2014This is, without doubt, a very high end waterproof jacket. The hood is attached by a full around zipper (no gaps for water or wind intrusion) and the hood is 3 way adjustable! Ample (5) exterior waterproof zipped pockets with one interior zipped pocket. Velcro closers on sleeve cuffs. Interior elastic adjustable snow skirt which has snaps to attach to snow pants AND the jacket bottom has another elastic adjustable closer. Super long waterproof air vent zips under the arms for ventilation. Just a super super jacket. Taking jacket to Iceland.
Reviewed by Mike from North of Pittsburgh on Saturday, December 21, 2013I would have kept this jacket except that every shirt I tried it on with bound up upon entrance. The netting is of such a material that grabs hold of the material trying to pass through.
I like Haglofs jackets, but this is a design flaw with this model.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Nitsuj22 from Laramie, Wyoming on Wednesday, January 9, 2013I purchased this Haglofs jacket after returning a similar one in soft shell because I found I needed something waterproof. While the jacket fits great, it is important to remember that Haglofs products are European sized, so I wear a XXL when usually I go for the XL in other jackets. The Proof fabric is incredibly breathable and sheds water very well, and I stayed dry all day during a warm day skiing. The one complaint I have is the size of the sleeves. I am 6'4" and about 235 pounds, and the length of the sleeves were perfect, but were so big around that they felt unnecessary, even with multiple thick layers on. However, when the sleeves are cinched down with the Velcro closures this problem is somewhat diminished, although definitely still noticeable. Great jacket overall, I will definitely buy Haglofs again!
