Great build quality and very nice looking jacket. Powershield with terrific waffle fleece inside. This waffle pattern is apparent on the exterior surface of the jacket, giving a different but cool look. The fit is less European than some other Haglofs jackets I've tried. If you are on the cusp between sizes normally, then you would be best to go one size up.

It has a two-way front zipper which is not my preference but some people like. Also the hood is adjusted with an exterior visible cord, which works very well, but which some may not like in appearance.

The hand pockets are large and low, hence great for caual use/warming your hands, but are right where a pack hip belt would ride.

I use for casual wear and plan to use for backpacking in the mountains (ie cool-cold weather).

I bought a XXL and I have a 46" chest and it is fine. You need to order at least one size up particularly if you want to layer underneath. Haglofs makes a very high quality garment. This jacket seems very sturdy and durable. If I bought my US size (XL) I would have had to return it because this is very European in its cut.

Just received this jacket today and I really like it. I cautiously ordered the XL and was hoping for a snug fit. It fit snug alright. Maybe a little snug through the shoulders and chest but it works as long as I'm only wearing 1 layer underneath. I'm 5'10 and 225lbs. with broader shoulders and chest if that helps anyone out. If you want to wear multiple layers underneath, go with the 2XL. Still getting used to the left side pull zipper also, but overall it's a great jacket.

The only negative is that this jacket runs small relative to US sizes. I ordered one size up and it is fine.

This jacket seems to be very high quality. It is lightweight and the insulation/fleece is minimal so it is best used as a layering piece over a midweight layer.

It is a great color and it is my new favorite jacket.

I use this jacket everyday for going to work and on the weekends hiking the local trails. Jacket fits well with just a want for a bit longer in the torso. Sleeves are nice an long so they stay behind your gloves when using hiking poles and reaching for climbing. Blocks the wind very well. Use a mid layer to add warm as this jacket does not have any insulating. I have used this jacket in the temp range from 36 degrees to 9 degrees F. Very happy with this one.
