“nice jacket weird fit”

“I posted previously that this jacket is beautifully made but has a weird fit. The armpits were too tight on the large. I exchanged it for an XL and, even though the sleeves are now too long (I'm 180lbs, 6'1"), I'm going to keep this jacket. I can now wear a thin fleece underneath and the armpits don't bind anymore. If you want this jacket, get a size larger. If it fits, you will love it. The quality of the finish is exemplary. I've been getting lots of compliments in the few days that I've worn it. I've used it walking in a cold rain and had to open the zips to keep from overheating. It kept me warm and dry. This will probably be my new winter jacket. (Remember though, I live in the Pacific Northwest. If you're on the East Coast or Midwest, you'll need a little more for your winters!)”
