“This is a thin jacket but does block the wind quite well. Haven't tried it in the rain yet, but seems like it will be fairly water resistant. Material is stretchy and seems like it will be good for x-c skiing on not too cold days. Jacket is oddly prone to wrinkling for a soft-shell. Zipper is difficult to start, which appears to be endemic to the Haglof jackets. My only real complaint is that the velour-like fleece in pockets snags on chapped hands.”
