“It passed an ultimate test: NiagaraFalls”

“I recently gave this jacket an ultimate test of its water-stopping ability: I wore it at the Niagara Falls. I passed on taking a raincoat provided by the tourist bureau and, instead, wore this windstopper by Haglofs to protect me from water, lots of water. I am so pleased with its performance that I decided to share my observations. I wore it in the areas of the Niagara Falls (allowed to tourists – but most tourists bail out from going there to avoid getting soaked wet) where the water was splashing so hard that I could not keep my eyes open; despite that, my hair under the hood and my clothes stayed dry. The hood was sitting comfortably on my head, without a chance of it being blown by the wind. The front zipper and the side pocket zippers are not sealed (the orange zipper fabric was wet) and yet my clothes underneath and the items in my pockets were completely dry (my pants, not covered by the jacket, got completely soaked). Lastly, let the water simply dribble off your jacket, don't touch it. Rubbing it, touching it at the time of it being exposed to water may cause it to be less water-proof. I highly recommend this jacket.”
