If you are looking for a real jacket, maybe you should scroll down a bit. But if a lightweight biking or running windshirt/jacket is what you need, this should fit the bill.

Warmer and softer than a shell. A breathable windbreaker jacket that is comfortable.

It not bad but it is cut a bit small, so order one size up. This is not a shell, it is a windshirt with no lining. it is light but I already have the Marmot windshirt and I don't want to pay this much for another windshirt. I'm looking for a Jacket with some fleece lining.. I returned mine and its really too pricey for a windshirt

Very nice looking light weight soft shell that can be used around town or for serious aerobic activities. It is a snug fit thru the torso so if you like loose fits, buy 1 size larger.

This jacket does everything it claims. It functions as designed. It had the added feature of being from Europe and it's unique features stand out. The only drawback is it runs a little small.

Order one size larger than your normal size! I've used this jacket with a single layer for snowshoeing and approach hiking in cold weather to excellent effect. Moisture is released rapidly through the rear vertical black strips of fabric. The body of the jacket keeps the snow and wind from getting in. The orange color keeps the hunters from making mistakes...

I purchased the jacket for commuting in sub 40 degree weather. So far it has proved adaquately. It wasn't quite as warm as I was hoping, but it is wind resistant. Its fit seems small, as a 2XL fits like an XL, which is fine for my purposes of bike riding.

I knew it was trouble from the moment I saw the size of the box; described and priced as a jacket, don't be surprised to receive something closer to a windshirt. I was looking for something with Windstopper protection for a variety of cold-weather activities, including skiing, but this product simply didn't fit into my current gear — too thin (with almost see-through mesh panels on the back) to be worn as outerwear, it would have to fit somewhere under a shell and insulating layer for cold conditions and then, what's the point? I could see where this piece would be perfect for cycling, for instance, or maybe as a warm-up track jacket, but considering the price it would be nice to get more versatility out of it. It's also worth mentioning the European fit, which will likely require you to go up a size. For what it is, it's an extremely well-made garment, high quality and attention to detail. Just be aware of what it is, and isn't — especially since so many items are being called soft shells these days.

I purchased this jacket for cycling and commuting by bike. I ordered a 2XL, and I am glad I did. It has excellent length in the sleeves and torso, but it is cut "tight", which is just fine for my purposes, but I would say the 2XL fits much more like an XL. The jacket has two black back panels/vents which aren't seen in the picture provided. The vents do there job, almost to well, as I am a bit cold there until I get warmed up from activity. I have only used the jacket for a few commutes thus far, but it is very wind resistant (tested it in 30-40 mph winds). It has a draw strings in the hem and in the collar, and a couple very small reflective accents. For cycling, it is windproof, but it isn't overly insulating. For my 30 minute commute it works well. For a 2 hour ride, it might actually get a bit warm. So far I like the jacket for my purposes.
