2.0 out of 5 stars. Smallest XXL everVerified Buyer Reviewed by Marty from Port Jefferson, NY on Sunday, March 15, 2015I am 6 feet 2 inches and weight 220 lbs. I normally wear either a XL or XXL depending on the designer. I ordered a XXL and it was very small and very short. It fitted like a size large. I suspect the American and Swedish sizing is radically different. Do order at least one to two sizes up when purchasing this product. I also did not like the feel of the fabric. Felt like plastic.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Haglofs Spire JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by jvsinger3 from California on Friday, January 9, 2015Excellent product. I was interested in trying a product other than Marmot or North Face. Fit was too small and needed to be exchanged for larger size. The sizing chart is not accurate for this item.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Jacket, but runs one size smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Tennessee on Thursday, November 27, 2014Its an awesome jacket…absolutely no complaints about it…it looks great and performs great. but order one size bigger than normal! I'm 6'4" 220 lbs athletic build and i usually wear an XL but i had to return it and get an XXL.

5.0 out of 5 stars. The Chosen OneReviewed by LTM from Massachusetts on Wednesday, November 19, 2014Bought in XL with the Haglofs Vandra in Large and a Large MH Drystein to try on. The Vandra fit oddly but the decision was tough between the Drystein pitzip offerings and the light weight of the Spire. After consideration, the Spire emerged the victor despite the larger than expected sizing. My boyfriend is 6'4" and 170lbs so it's a continuous struggle to find something even acceptable for his torso and arm length without being too roomy in the middle. This jacket can be layered underneath well and will be perfect for winter hiking this season. Hopefully it will also be light enough for wet summer weather when it comes that time too.
The boyfriend prefers black or dark colors but I like the orange: lets him stand out when he's trying to sneak off for naps. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Lightweight & Great QualityVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Tennessee on Monday, October 13, 2014the gore-tex active shell is awesome. its super waterproof (28,000), super breathable (25,000), and pretty light so its very packable. Haglofs did a good job with this jacket too. design is cool and quality seems good.
