Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by Ephblum from Amherst, NY on Monday, November 25, 2013I am really a fan of Haglofs fleeces (I have about 10 of them all from STP-these and the micro fleece pullover) for their high quality and nice slim fit which makes their stuff great for outdoor activities such as jogging and around the house. (6'2" 180 lbs cyclist used to tight fitting clothing). I will reinforce the slim fit of this brand which may turn off some people. Their fleeces seem to have a pretty slim fit all throughout the size range and only get a tad wider when going up sizes, while they get considerably longer (i.e. for taller but still slim people). A lot of higher end cycling clothing is like this because they assume the only people who are going to be buying are already in good shape, just taller, so I am guessing they are going down that route with their fleece clothing. I usually wear a large if only over a thin t-shirt, and will wear an XL over multiple layers such as short sleeve base+long-sleeve insulating garments like CW-X. Size large sleeves are great length for me (I wear 36" sleeve length dress shirt) and in this fleece the sleeves are a bit longer with the thumbholes. These garments wash very well and I have been very impressed with the durability. The fleece does not become pill-like, at least not yet, even after many washes (I think micro-grid fleece is also more resistant to pilling than your normal micro fleece). The zippers take a bit of getting used to because they have very thin inside wind flaps that are easy to get caught, but you learn to kind of pull out and up while zipping to prevent it from getting snagged.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Just Me from Tacoma, WA on Friday, February 22, 2013This is sold as a "jacket" however the body is so tight I couldn't wear it over a t-shirt. I am 6'02" and 190 pounds. I bought an XL and the body was too tight and the arms too long.
